Facilities in La Cala de Mijas include a modern national health service clinic, sports centre, council offices, Mercadona, Supersol, Lidl and Aldi supermarkets, La Noria golf course and the excellent El Chaparral, Santana, Calanova and La Cala Resort golf courses just a short distance away. With all the facilities on hand there really is no need to leave La Cala de Mijas, but if you fancy a change Fuengirola is a ten minute drive away, with Marbella and Puerto Banús 15 to 20 minutes by car.
